Meet the Pastor

Rev. Betancourt came to  Gardiner Church after serving several churches in Maine and Indiana, as well as planting a church in the Indianapolis, Indiana area. She is an Ordained Elder in the Church of the Nazarene. Rev. Betancourt held multiple denominational positions on the District Board of Ministry and was District Secretary and is well regarded as a conference speaker in the USA and internationally, representing Nazarene  World Missions. She has extensive experience in  banking and  is a graduate of Casco Bay College, Andover College, and Nazarene Bible College.  

Vanessa is a Maine native, and she grew up in the Mid-coast region. She and her husband, Miguel live in Bowdoinham.  They enjoy kayaking and sailing. They have four grown children and two grandchildren.
